Scholarships

Women In Circle is committed to inviting women to participate in a potentially life-changing experience.  To that end, we provide financial assistance for women to facilitate their ability to attend the Woman Within Weekend.

For each weekend held in Delavan, WI; Women In Circle allocates 3-$200 awards of financial assistance (in the form of a "scholarship" or as a "loan" depending on the needs of the woman).

The awards are allocated based on:
* Geography
(Women who live in the WIC area will be given priority before out-of-towners);
* Receipt of the application; and
* Actually attending the weekend for which the scholarship is offered.

Financial aid requests must be received 45 days prior to the weekend applied for and must be accompanied by a brief, personal statement outlining your need for assistance. The funds are paid from the Women In Circle Treasurer to the appropriate registrar for the training weekend.

After the weekend, recipients are contacted (via e-mail) and asked if they would like to write a testimonial and/or a note of thanks to the community.  This is optional. The testimonial/note of thanks can be anonymous or signed, at the request of the woman.
