IL WIC Mentor Program by Barbara Hayes, IL, USA

Beginning with the upcoming May weekend, WIC is rolling out a mentor program for the new initiates. We are looking for IL graduates who feel called to step into a mentorship role.

The Purpose: To provide a new initiate with a mentor in the WW community

The Benefit: To help a new initiate stay connected in the community as she experiences herself in a new place of self-discovery

The Mentor's Role: To answer questions and provide information about upcoming community events such as social gatherings, celebrations and trainings

The Program: The mentor will check in with the new initiate twice during the first month, once during the second and then occasionally thereafter as mutually agreed upon
