Dear Crone OTD (older than dirt)

I am wondering what kind of underwear is appropriate for staffing the WW weekend. I am very excited about this opportunity to give back and want to be within dress code guidelines.

Dear Wondering,

Very good question. At one time it was recommended that facilitators wear red underpants turned inside out to ward off evil spirits. However, after exhaustive research I believe you don't even have to wear underwear. If you choose to, please make sure your crack doesn't show when you bend over for the birth canal or while holding down the sheet. It can be distracting.

SOLUTION: WEAR LONG SHIRTS.

What do you suggest I do to keep from taking on other women's "stuff" when I staff? I have heard about creating an imaginary shield or some other kind of protective devise but I am not sure how that would work.

Dear Can you help,

It is important to keep in mind that other women's stuff is also our stuff. We heal together. While many may visualize a shield to protect the child within, I prefer to fill myself with healing light until it comes out of my pores. With the shield the "stuff" bounces back into the room and with the "light" I believe it transforms and heals.
