footprints on our hearts, and we are
never, ever the same again.

Sheri was one of those people

I remember really meeting Sheri for the first time on the carpet on my own Woman Within weekend ten years ago. I remember my piece of work and being facilitated by Sheri, such a powerful, loving woman and skilled facilitator who helped to plant a seed in me that day, that enabled me to grow as I loved and nurtured it over the years to come, often with Sheri’s further help, into a strong empowered woman myself.

Dearest Sheri, as I pause to look deep into your beautiful eyes, these are some of the many gifts I know I have received from you:

Sheri touched us all in so many ways. I am the woman I am today thanks to the gifts she gave me. She became a dear friend over the years, staying with me when she came over to staff in England. Her enthusiasm and support for the weekends we did in French was invaluable. She came to France and sang “The Rose” in church with me and other Woman Within friends at my daughter, Louise’s wedding.

Following the last French weekend she led, she sent us this message which illustrates so well the wonderful woman she was:

As I reflect over my past year, I am grateful to have shared a time with you that illuminates my heart and soul! You have no idea how deeply the weekend we shared in November has touched my life, and changed me. I am richer by far, and walk in a more grounded confident place than I did before I journeyed to be with you. Thank you for touching me, and walking with me as I learned that the language of our heart, and our healing, transcends the language differences.. for in our hearts, the language of pain ... and Love is the same.

We will miss her physical presence. I already feel her spiritual presence around me even stronger than before. I firmly believe her spirit has passed on to a beautiful, powerful place from where she will continue to guide us all.
