About
Sheri Zuccato: Sheri has
asked me (Pamela Grant) to pass along this information.
Tuesday, December 19, 2006, she had an appt. with her Oncologist to receive
her final report.
Sheri has a large cancerous tumor in her bowel. Cancer
is also eating away the lining of her intestines.
She has lung cancer in both lungs.
The most advanced cancer is in her liver which now has
involved over 80% of it.
The chances of any treatment helping her are slim to
none. Treatment would also rob her of any quality of
life for the time she has left. If it worked at all it
would only give her a couple of extra months.
As Sheri told the Doctor "I have loved my life and
nothing you can try will ever give me that life again."
Sheri has chosen "comfort care". This means that Hospice
will start coming in this week. They will keep her pain
free and comfortable. At the end, they will be with her
and her parents 24 hours per day.
Sheri has chosen to die in peace and asks that you all
respect her decision and remember her as she was.
She continues to be So touched by all your alive, gifts
and prayers.
She says "thanks for showing me that I've made a
difference in the world."
When the social worker was speaking to us she asked what
Sheri had done for a living. When we explained, she said
"What a void you will leave". I can't tell you how true
that is for me, as I'm sure it is for you.
So I commit to living my life to somehow help fill that
void. I invite you all to do the same. Let's leave a
legacy for Sheri that the world cannot deny.
Please continue to keep Sheri and her family in your
prayers. Her family thanks all of you who have sent
contributions. Each one is a treasure. I will update you
when there is something new to report.
Much love and blessings.

This is Sheri Zuccato
Sheri has been part of the Woman Within Community since
October, 1993, when she did her first Woman Within
Training at Delavan, Wisconsin. Sheri continually has
held the sacred energy of this organization in her heart
through her unending service to Woman Within in reaching
women around the world.
As Pamela Grant, a former WW facilitator and dear friend
of Sheri, has written above, Sheri has courageously and
gracefully elected to have comfort care from Hospice.
Now is the time to honor and support Sheri in the way
that she has supported both women and men. Sheri is no
longer able to work. We are asking you to support and
ease her struggle with your generous financial support.
We hope that this will bring her a great comfort.
There are two ways you can send a donation. Choose the
method best suited to you. The checks directly to Ruth
Zuccato are not eligible for a tax receipt, the ones to
the WW-Sheri Zuccato Fund are.
You may continue to send (cards &) checks payable to:
"Ruth Zuccato", c/o Pamela Grant, 262 W. Lake Dr,
Livingston, TX, 77351
and / or
Woman Within Int'l has established the “Sharon (Sheri)
Zuccato Fund". Contributions to this fund can be sent
to:

and her family.
